The Lord called Tyesia Sharra Burgess home on December 5, 2024, after serving 38 years on the Lord battlefield. Tyesia was born on June 6, 1986, in Barrow County.
She loved playing spots and always had a smile on her face. Tyesia is preceded in death by one granddaughter Kahmari Denise Jackson, grandparents Willie (Jacqueline) Smith, William (Ethylene) Cooper and Melvin Burgess. Uncles James Burgess, a very special friend Boris Camp and a special cousin Tyrus Davis. Tyesia celebration of life will be remembered by her parents Donna Smith (Mother) of Bethlehem, GA, Robert Burgess (Father) of Winder, GA; six children: JaNauatica N’Zha Burgess, Zion Janaey Burgess of Bethlehem, GA, Karma LaMaya Tanner, DiQuan Zymir Tanner, Landon TyQuis Tanner all of Winder, GA, Kyson Reza Stillwell of Statham, GA; two brothers Donte’ Burgess of Bethlehem, GA, Ahikam Griffin of South Carolina; four sisters Towanna Burgess of Monroe, GA, Latasha Gorlu of Gainesville, GA, Lyric Burgess Halle Burgess of Winder, GA; one very special auntie Jean Smith of Winder, GA and a very special person Robert Mayweather and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at White Oak Springs Baptist Church at 2;00 PM. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
