David K. Marsingill

David K. Marsingill, age 83, of Buford, GA, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, JoAnn Brackett Marsingill; son, Jeff Marsingill; grandson, Joshua Harter; parents, Hubert and Lois Marsingill; brother, Larry Marsingill; sisters, Hazel Pirkle and Phylliss Hansard. Mr. Marsingill is survived by his daughter, Rhonda (Jim) Harter of Buford, GA; son, Gerry (Rosa) Marsingill of Gainesville, GA; grandsons, Taylor Harter, Jensen, Marsingill; granddaughters, Rosa Baltazar, Iris Baltazar, Nadia Baltazar; great-grandchild, AnnaLeah Harter; sisters, Frances (Joseph) Tatum of Donaldsonville, GA, Norma (Stanley) Orr of Greenville, SC; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Marsingill was born on November 22, 1941 in Buford, GA and graduated from Buford High School in 1959. He also attended college where he earned some credits. He was retired from Cardinal Glass Company, Buford, GA and was a painter for many years. Mr. Marsingill was a member of Buford Church of God and loved fishing, gardening, the Buford Wolves and Atlanta Braves. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2024 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Joey Grizzle. Interment will follow the service at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Flanigan Funeral Home.
