Robert Edwin Bjorensen

Robert Edwin Bjorensen, born on October 14, 1938, in Pensacola, Florida, passed away peacefully at the age of 86. He was fondly known as Bob, Bobby, and Grandpa Bob. He lived a life defined by hard work, genuine friendships, and unwavering love for his family.

For much of his life he was a faithful member of the local Lutheran church.

Throughout his career, Bob held a variety of engineering positions, but his most fulfilling role was being a part of the Universal Fabricators family for over 25 years. It was during his time there that he forged lasting friendships and found true satisfaction in his work.

Bob is survived by his beloved son, Clifford Bjorensen, and Clifford’s wife, Heather, as well as his two stepsons, Corey Gilbert (Colleen) and Jody Gilbert (Sharon). He was a proud grandfather to Emily, Ellie, and Sadie Bjorensen, who brought immense joy to his later years.

Known for his quick wit and deep care for others, Bob had a gift for making those around him feel valued and appreciated. He will be remembered for his resourcefulness, wisdom, faithfulness, and the love he shared with all who knew him. His legacy of kindness and integrity lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at the Bridge Church on Sunday, December 15th at 3pm. The Bridge Church is located at 1965 Evergreen Blvd Suite 200, Duluth, GA 30096. The family invites all who knew and loved him to join in honoring his memory.
