Nancy Lynn Post

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Nancy Lynn Post, age 70 of Athens, Georgia (South Jackson Community),  who entered rest Tuesday, December 10, 2024.  Mrs. Post was born in Blue Field, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Howard Monk and the late Zella Sizemore Goodman.  Mrs. Post was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a retired CNA with Chipola Retirement Center.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Post is preceded by sons, Christian Sadousky and Rod Sadousky.

Survivors include her husband David Michael Post of Athens.  Daughters, Kimberly Fletcher of Jacksonville, Jennifer Culberth of Graceville and Tammy of Graceville.  Siblings,  Joyce Shipes of Chipley, Angie Goodman, Johnny Monk, Darrell Monk, David Monk and Buddy Goodman all of Graceville. Seven grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 13, 2024 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Dibler officiating with burial to follow in the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at Evans Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church, 1975 Ga-82, Statham, Georgia  30666.
