Eugene “Tommy” Thomas Stanford, Jr.

Mr. Eugene “Tommy” Thomas Stanford, Jr., age 70 of Bethlehem, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at his residence.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Memorial Park South Chapel with Minister John Burchfield officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Tommy was born September 8, 1954 to the late Eugene Thomas Stanford & Annie Jo Terrell in Atlanta, Georgia. He realized his talent of singing at an early age and went on to sing lead vocals in some very well-known bands in the Atlanta area in the 70's and 80's. He met Darlene, the love of his life, in 1974 and stayed by her side for 50 years. Together they had one daughter, Jenny, who was his pride and joy. He was a diehard Atlanta Falcons fan and never missed watching a game. Tommy retired as a supervisor from Harrison Poultry in Bethlehem, where he worked for 38 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents Tommy Sr. and Annie Jo Stanford; Sisters, Billie Jo Kilgore, Janis Stanford, and Sandy McBryant. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Stanford; daughter, Jenny (Andy) Ledford; Grandchildren, Brooklyn, Drew, and Austin Ledford of Flowery Branch; Brother, James Stanford of Covington, GA, and several loving nieces and nephews.
