Raymond Eugene Sellers

Raymond Eugene Sellers, 78, of Dawsonville passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024 at his residence.

Mr. Sellers was born November 4, 1946 in Cordele, Georgia to the late Jessie and Mildred Sellers.  Raymond was a truck driver all his working life and enjoyed driving his green and red Kenworth.  His feet were made for dancing and that’s exactly what he did every chance he got.  He was an amazing father, grandpa, pepaw, great grandpa, and he loved his family.  Raymond was also preceded in death by his son in law, Terry Reeves.

Surviving are his children, Emily Kay Sellers, Dawsonville, Candy Sellers Reeves, Cumming, Tyron Sellers and Tammy Stowers, Dawsonville, Shannon Sellers and Randy McGinnis, Dawsonville; grandchildren, Jessica and Valero Romero, Jacob and Kaitlyn Sellers, Levi and Candra Sellers, Nicole White and Shandee Stowers; 5 great grandchildren; brother and sister in law, Charlie and Linda Marsh, Houston, TX; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 22, 2024 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Tim Hubbard and Rev. Andy Wallace will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Corinth Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 until 8 at the funeral home.
