William (Bill) Richard Ledford

Mr. William (Bill) Richard Ledford, age 72, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday, December 22, 2024 and also Monday, December 23, 2024 at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at Wahoo Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Reverend Mark Stroud and Revered Mark Wheeler will officiate.

Bill was a lifetime Hall County resident. He was born July 17, 1952, son of the late Richard Ledford and Margaret Brown Ledford.

He was a member of Wahoo Baptist Church. Bill retired from the State of Georgia Highway Department of Transportation with over 30 years of service.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Webb Ledford; son, Billy Shane Ledford; grandchildren, Logan and Clayton Ledford; sisters, Peggy Carrillo and Janice Ledford; brother, Danny and Steve Ledford and also a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Brenda Sayne.
