Virginia Clark White

Mrs. Virginia Clark White, 95, of Gainesville, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024 at The Lakes of Gainesville following an extended illness.

A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 23, 2024 in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Trent Smith and Andy Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Monday, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Born on July 19, 1929 in New Holland, she was the daughter of the late Alfred B. Clark and Brema Akins Clark. Mrs. White attended Airline High School. She was retired from Indian River Hatchery. Mrs. White was a member of Eastview Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. White; her children, Judith White Gooch, Conley White, Sandi White and siblings, Merlene, Evelyn, Benny and A.B.

Mrs. White is survived by her granddaughter and husband, Mandy Fowler Barnes and Stephen; grandsons and wives, Adam White and Nikki, Tyler White and Kelsey; granddaughter and husband, Chelsea Hobson and Mitch; granddaughter, Calista Abercrombie; 8 great grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
