Jerry Allen Davis

Mr. Jerry Allen Davis, age 71 of Cleveland, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center Habersham.

A son of the late John A. Davis, Jr. and Pauline Reeves Davis, he was born August 11, 1953 in Milledgeville, Georgia having lived the greater part of his life in Habersham County, Georgia.  He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and a graduate of North Georgia Technical College.  He was a retired truck driver with Crane Trucking with many years of service and was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Turnerville, Georgia.  He loved working on old cars, camping, fishing and playing with his dogs.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his brothers, sister and sisters-in-law, John and Maria Davis of Demorest, Georgia, Bobby and Mary Alice Davis of Cleveland, Georgia, Barbara Galvond of Elberton, Georgia and Kenny and Marlene Davis of Cleveland, Georgia; a number of nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025, 2 p.m. at The Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Mr. Carl Ivester officiating.
