Marilyn Esther Knight

Mrs. Marilyn Esther Knight, age 93, of Hoschton, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024.

Family will receive guests on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Braselton Funeral Home from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. A graveside service will follow at Memorial Park South Cemetery at 2:00pm.

Mrs. Knight was born on October 1, 1931 to Mr. Leon A. Bassett and Mrs. Lillian M. Bassett in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

She is survived by her son, Stephen Rice; daughter, Holly Weaver; grandchildren, Angela, Emily, & Heather; 8 great grandchildren; and 1 great, great grandchild.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Gene Knight and brother, Alvin Bassett.
