Dwaine Lee Fowler

Mr. Dwaine Lee Fowler, age 59 of Gumlog Road, Lavonia passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025 at his residence. 

A son of the late Kenneth Floyd Fowler and Doris Dutton Fowler, he was born September 27, 1965 in Franklin County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Stephens and Franklin Counties.  He was retired from JIMCO Maintenance with 30 years of service as a technician. He was of the Baptist faith.  He loved being outdoors, especially fishing and kayaking.    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Fowler and Junior Fowler and by a sister, Marie Peeples.  

Survivors include his wife of the home, Tracy Martin Fowler; sons, Jay Fowler (Rachel Stephens) of Toccoa and Chad Fletcher (Amber Smith) of Eastanollee; daughter, Kim Brown of Liberty, South Carolina; brother, Aubrey Fowler of Carnesville; grandchildren, Colt Brown, Jazper Fowler, Malaya Fowler, Laci Fletcher, Briana Fletcher, Ella Fletcher, CJ Fletcher and Jolene Fletcher; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Helen and LN Smith; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Casey and Amanda Sheriff, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Tammy and Mark Camp; sister-in-law, Lisa Cammock; a number of nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be Monday, January 13, 2025, 2 p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, John Fletcher, Jared Sheriff, Jacob Sheriff, William Fowler, Ricky Bowen and Zach Crunkleton.  Mark Camp and LN Smith will serve as honorary pallbearers. 

The family will receive friends on Monday from noon until the service time.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.  

Interment will follow in the Tom’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Mr. Casey Sheriff officiating.
