Mrs. Sandra Louise Mobley Pruitt, age 86 of Toccoa passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at her residence.
A daughter of the late Mary Lou Hosea Mobley, she was born in Atlanta, Georgia having lived the greater part of her life in Toccoa. Her employment over the years included Wright’s Manufacturing, Pruitt Grocery, owned with her husband and Pruitt Enterprises owned with her husband.
“Mom-Mom” has passed into the arms of our Lord and we remember her as a loyal servant just beginning her eternal and beautiful journey. She dedicated her life to the Lord at a young age and her faith never wavered. She used her amazing gift of piano playing as her testimony in countless worship services over decades. She was a prayer warrior, always ready to share her faith with those around her. She is now at peace in the arms of her Savior. In this knowledge, we can find comfort. Even as death came knocking, she was still praising her Maker!
…Let us run with endurance the race set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith…Hebrews 12:1-2.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Pruitt and by two sons, Eddie Pruitt and Michael Pruitt.
Survivors include her son, Marvin Pruitt of Toccoa; two grandsons, Kevin Pruitt and Blake Pruitt (Hope); one granddaughter, Mary Talor Pruitt; six great-grandchildren, Haylee, Kacin, Mary Anna, Michael, Stetson and soon to arrive an additional great-granddaughter; brother-in-law, Charles Dooley of Toccoa; nephews, Brian Dooley and Barry Dooley.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 15, 2025, 2 p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Don Scott and The Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice in memory of Mrs. Sandra Louise Mobley Pruitt.
Entombment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Mausoleum with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Sandra Louise Mobley Pruitt.
