Ralph Cheek

Mr. Ralph Cheek age 88 of Toccoa passed away Friday January 24, 2025 at his residence.

A son of the late John and Blanche Langford Cheek, he was born June 13, 1936 in Franklin County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Stephens County. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served as a Corporal in the Combat Engineer Company. He was employed with G & W Construction and later with EZ Bore Inc. He was a member of Mullins Ford Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife Tina Issaqueena King Cheek, second wife Bridget McPhillips Cheek, sisters Julia Williams, Josephine Cheek Scott, brothers Paul Cheek, Carl Cheek, Roy Cheek, Ben Cheek, Richard Cheek and J.W. Cheek.

Survivors include a sister Betty Jordan of Creola, Alabama, nephews Wayne and James Scott of Toccoa and a granddaughter Julie McKenzie.

A memorial service will be held Saturday February 1, 2025 at 2 P.M. with the Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from noon until service time.
