Sandra Hall Strickland

Sandra Hall Strickland, 70, of Suwanee, GA, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025, following a short illness. Sandra was a fifth-generation resident of Forsyth County, and a 1972 graduate of Norcross High School. She retired from the Gwinnett Hospital System after 30 years of service, having worked at Buford General Hospital, Joan Glancy Hospital, and Gwinnett Medical outpatient center.

Mrs. Strickland was preceded in death by her parents, Charles L. Hall and Winnie Pendley Hall, of Suwanee, first husband Gene Strickland, and second husband Bob MacDonald, both of Suwanee, GA, . She is survived by brothers, Steve Hall (Joy), Suwanee and Jim Hall (Tina), Auburn, GA; sister Melanie Headden (Randall), of Cartersville, GA, and special daughter Ana Nealy (Chuck). Nieces and nephews include Crista Hall (Larry Boye), John Hall (Bethany), Katie Hall Vasbinder (Zach), Brad Hall (Jessica), Matt Martin, Melissa Moon (Casey), Carolyn Hall (Jason), Steven Carter (Travis), and Cameron Brown. Grand-nieces and nephews are Aubrey Hall, Jack Boye, Norrie Hall, Gavin Hall, Ian Hall, Dillon Hall, Corinne Vasbinder, Josiah Hall, Harper Hall, Hadley Hall, Maddux Hall, Sutton Vasbinder, Hudson Hall, Keagin Moon, Addison Moon, Noah Martin, Gracie Martin, Caleb Martin, Carter Martin, Linkyn Moon, Jonah Moon, and Shaelie Moon (deceased). Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Pendley and Pastor Ronnie Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens located in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 7, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
