John Christopher Romberg passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 in Gainesville, GA at the age of 66 after an extended illness. He was a native of Gainesville, born 1958, the son of the late Conrad Julius Romberg and Marian Elizabeth Romberg. He graduated from Gainesville High School and then received a bachelor’s degree from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. John lived in Florida for over 30 years, most recently in Jacksonville as an entrepreneur.
A graveside memorial service is planned for family. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Family Hospice (www.homewithfamily.com).
