July 9, 1949 ~ February 21, 2025

Brenda took her heavenly flight on February 21, 2025 at the age of 75 with her family by her side. Anxiously awaiting is her beloved son, Michael Reed as well as her parents, Floyd and Clara Dean (Pugh) Henderson.  She leaves behind her high school sweetheart and husband of 57 years, Anthony Reed of Sugar Hill and loving daughter, Wendy Reed (Mitchel) Pendley of Buford; daughter-in-law, Holly Hutto Reed of Sugar Hill; grandchildren, Madison (Bradley) Berry, Hannah Busenlehner, Chase Reed, Gracie Pendley, Jessie Willard, all of Buford, and Chandler Pendley of Clermont, GA; great grandchildren, Lilly, Hadley, Banks, and Callahan Berry, all of Buford; sister, Ann (Ronnie) Cole of Flowery Branch; brother, Dale (Holli) Henderson of Cumming; sisters-in-law, Pam Smith and Kathy Brookshire both of Dahlonega, GA; special nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless unforgettable friends.

Brenda was born and raised in Buford and was a 1967 graduate of North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, GA where she met and married the love of her life. She was a lifelong and faithful member of the Buford Church of God. She was a member of Prime Timers Senior Group and the Solid Rock Sunday School class. Brenda once served on the Ladies Ministries Board and choir member. Staying steadfast in her Christian beliefs has brought her through some difficult and challenging times. She has truly lived in the Goodness of God. She loved traveling, cooking/baking, sewing, crafts, and Gaither Homecoming music. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Brenda, Mama, Nanny, Brema, friend, you will be missed and thought of often but never forgotten. Your love, your laughter and your spirit will forever be a part of us. Go rest in heavenly peace!

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Buford Church of God in Buford, GA, with Pastor Joey Grizzle, Pastor Gary Scroggs, and Dale Henderson officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford.  The family will receive friends on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Flanigan Funeral Home.
