Martin Matthew Davis, a talented chef whose creations delighted palates and warmed hearts, passed away on March 23, 2025, in Athens, Georgia. He was born on November 13, 1965, in Marietta, Georgia, and spent his life cultivating a passion for the culinary arts that would leave a lasting impact on his family and the community he cherished.

Martin's journey as a chef began at an early age. He possessed not only a natural gift for cooking but also an unwavering dedication to his craft. Throughout his career, he created memorable dining experiences that brought joy to countless individuals. Martin is survived by his beloved son, Russell Davis, and daughter-in-law Hannah Spencer, who will carry forward his legacy with the same love and zest for life that he embodied. He is also survived by his dear sister, Jenny Davis, and his cherished grandchild, Journey Davis, who brought light and laughter to his life.

He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Kay Henderson Davis, who instilled in him the values of hard work and determination. Martin's love for his family was evident in everything he did, and he was especially proud of the close-knit bonds he fostered throughout his life.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
