Maria made significant contributions to the banking industry, where she excelled in management roles. Her dedication and commitment to excellence were evident throughout her career. Alongside her professional accomplishments, Maria selflessly devoted her time to volunteer work at Life University as well as Prince of Peace, leaving a lasting impact on those she served.
Maria’s true passion in life was spreading happiness and bringing smiles to everyone she encountered. Her infectious laughter and warm personality touched the lives of many, making her a beloved member of the community. She had an extraordinary ability to uplift others, offering words of encouragement and support during both joyous and challenging times.
She will be deeply missed by her children and their spouses, Derek (Dena) Williams, Craig (Becky) Williams, & Yvette (Keith) Chaney; Maria’s legacy also lives on through her grandchildren, Kristi Plott, CJ Williams, Austin Chaney, Chase Chaney, & Connor Chaney; She was blessed with great-grandchildren, Madison James, Linnaea Peterson, Dahlia Peterson, Ariana Peterson, and Bennett Chaney, who brought immense joy to her life. She is survived by her nephew, Jeff Jassby; and niece, Nicole Viegut.
Maria J. Williams will be reunited in eternal peace with her beloved husband, Paul T. Williams, who preceded her in death. Together, they shared a lifetime of love, devotion, and cherished memories.
Funeral mass will be held at 11:30 A.M. Monday, April 7, 2025 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Pete Coppola officiating. Private family burial will be held after the service. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. prior to the service at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
