Jody Paul Kitchens, born on August 24, 1980, in Commerce, Georgia, was a beloved figure in his community, known for his dedication to his work and his family. He passed away on April 1, 2025, in Hull, Georgia, leaving behind a legacy of love and commitment to those who knew him.
Jody enjoyed a fulfilling career with Millers Quality Construction, where he applied his skills and passion for building, contributing to both the company and the many projects he was proud to be a part of. His work was a testament to his determination and craftsmanship, qualities that defined his character.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Jody cherished his role as a family man. He is survived by his loving spouse, Megan Stephens Kitchens, and his children—Johnny Kitchens and Taylee Kitchens, Stephania, Gigi, Sophia, Angel, and Lukah, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
Jody was also a dedicated brother, surviving his siblings: Michael (Kathy) Kitchens, Amy (Nathan) Miller, Melissa Cowart, and Tammy Jilks. He took great pride in his role as an uncle to numerous nieces and nephews, fostering relationships that will be fondly remembered.
His parents, Robert Lee and Dorothy Nell Slater Kitchens, preceded him in death. Their guidance and values shaped the man he became, and their memory will continue to live on through Jody's family, who reflect his kind spirit and strong faith.

A visitation to honor Jody's life will be held on April 4, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ivie Funeral Home located at 1053 S. Elm Street, Commerce, GA 30529.
