Mr. Britton “Brit” Wade Knowles, age 71, of Auburn, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025.

On Thursday, April 10, 2025 the family will hold visitation from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with a service at 2:00 pm, and a reception to follow located at the Braselton Room.

He was born on Thursday, April 9, 1953 to Mr. Willis Wadress Knowles & Mrs. Mary Kathryn Knowles in Atlanta, Georgia.

Mr. Knowles is survived by wife, Jennifer Kirby Knowles; sister, Kathy Trammell; son, David Knowles (Kirsta Knowles); daughter, April Knowles; stepdaughter, Layla Shelton (Andrew Shelton); nephew Andrew Trammell; grandchildren, Brittan, Bear, and Lucas Knowles; step grandchild, Jaxson Shelton; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mr. Knowles was a son, brother, father, grandfather, husband, friend, and was a proud retired DeKalb County Police motorcycle officer.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to your local animal shelter in his honor.
