Evelyn Vanasse Scarbary Hibbs

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Evelyn Vanasse Scarbary Hibbs, age 62 of Winder, Georgia who entered rest Thursday, April 17, 2025.  Mrs. Hibbs was born in Atlanta, Georgia a daughter of the late James Milton Scarbary and the late Lou Mercer Hawk.  Mrs. Hibbs worked as a Waitress in the Restaurant Industry.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Hibbs of Knoxville, Tennessee.  Daughter, Amanda Rodriguez (Rod) of Winder, son,William Moody of Eatonton.  Sister, Margie Lietch of Gainesville.  Brothers, James and Buster Scarbary of Monroe.

In accordance with the wishes of Mrs. Hibbs, her remains are to be cremated and a memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
