Angela Dulceanu
Angela was born on the January 2 1957, the first born of Ioan and Ana Mircu.
In May 1958 her sister Ani was born and in August 1962 her brother Adrian.
Angela attended grade school in Obreja and middle school in Caransebes. In 1976 Angela graduated from high school in Otelu Rosu.
In August 1976 Angela was baptized together with her sister Ani in the baptist church in Obreja where pastor was Ionica Muroni.
Angela worked as an accountant at the city council in Obreja for 6 years until 1983 when she
emigrated together with her parents and brother Adrian to the USA in Los Angeles. In Los Angeles were her sister Ani and brother in law John Gavrila, Rodica and Ted Gavrila and the Stalinescu family.
In Los Angeles she attended the baptist church where pastor was brother Pitt Popovici.
In 1984 the whole family moved to Chicago where they were members of the Romanian Baptist Church, pastors were Alexa Popovici and Valentin Popovici. At church she met Mircea Dulceanu and they were married on September 15 1990. They had a beautiful and happy marriage with a large extended family.
In Chicago she took Medical Assistant courses and worked for 12 years in Dr’s office.
In 2002 they decided to move to Atlanta where her sister Ani and brother in law John lived, in order to help take care of their parents which were sick.
In 2005 her mom Ana Mircu, went to be with the Lord at only 68 years old.
In Atlanta they were members of First Romanian Baptist Church where pastors were Titi Cocian and Cristi Cocian. At church they had beautiful fellowship and many friends.
In Atlanta Angela worked for 18 years at a cardiology office, here she was loved by the doctors, colleagues and patients. For 8 years Angela and Mircea took care of her father Ioan Mircu who suffered from dementia. In 2021 her father Ioan Mircu went to be with the Lord.
In 2022 Angela retired and was very happy taking care of the flowers and vegetables in her garden, together with Mircea. They had a happy and tranquil life but in 2023 she was diagnosed with cancer which she fought for almost 2 years.
Angela was joyful and friendly so she had lots of friends.
Angela is survived by her husband Mircea; sister Ani and husband John Gavrila and their children: Emanuel, Johny and Mellisa; brother Adrian and wife Lili and their children: Abby, Becky and Jonathan; sister in law Ani Leascu and husband Emanuel and their son Nathanaiel; brother in law Romeo and his son David Dulceany; uncle Nick and his wife Roxana Arcan and many more relatives
and friends among which, her best friend who was like sister Rodica Gavrila with her husband Ted and their family. Angela loved her family, her church family and her friends who are to many to mention.
Angela we will all miss you a lot but we live with the Lord’s promise that we will meet again in heaven where there is no more pain and suffering.
