Benjamin Joseph Ellerd

Benjamin Joseph Ellerd, 24 of Lawrenceville died Sunday
January 4, 2009 from injuries sustained in an automobile
accident.

Ben had lived in Gwinnett County for most of his life and
was a graduate of Collins Hill High School. Ben was a
wonderful person and a gentle spirit. He will be dearly
missed by his family, many friends and will remain in our
hearts forever.

Survivors include his mother, Connie Ellerd, Lawrenceville;
father and step-mother, Ben and Lesa Ellerd, Gainesville;
grandparents, Marie and Elijah "Laker" Lake, of New York;
Charles and Rose Magill, Florida; Aunts and Uncles; Chris
and Randy Rierson, Georgia; Vicki Agosta, New York; Missy
Dawson, MA; Chuck Magill, NC; Chris Ellerd, OK; Cousins;
Adam and Kelli Magill, NC; Kim Salerno, CT; Vincent Agosta,
CT; Kelly McGuire, MA; Bill Dawson, GA; Melanie Cabrera,
NY;

Ben is preceded in death by a grandmother, Frances Magill
and a grandfather, Ben Ellerd.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday January
8, 2009 in the Chapel of the First Baptist Church on Green
Street. The Rev. Dr. Bill Coates will officiate. Interment
will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will
receive friends at the Mason & Ward Funeral Home, 1190
McEver Rd., Gainesville on Wednesday January 7, 2009 from
2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
