Clara Belle Vernon

Ms. Clara Belle Vernon, age 86 and life long resident of Forsyth County, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2009. Ms. Vernon was a member of Piedmont United Methodist Church and was a longtime nursing aide for the Forsyth County Hospital. Ms. Vernon was also a life time caregiver for her family.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Arthurlene and Rodney Hansard and family of Cumming, Jerry and Sara Vernon and family of Cumming, Faye Gravitt and family of Cumming, Sandra and Billy Freeman and family of Ellijay and Lynn and Jimmy Pruitt and family of Cumming; and several other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 15th at 4:00pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Tinsley and Rev. Jerry Vernon officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:30 until 9:00 pm and Thursday from 9:00 am until time of service.
