Jack (Buster) W. Strickland

Ivie Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Jack (Buster) W. Strickland, age 81, of 133 Riverbend Ln Commerce who passed away Sat. evening at his residence.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Rose Marie Rozier of Blackshear, Ga., Mary Lynn Nix of Nicholson, and Jackie E. Walker Jenkins of Commerce, a son, Larry A. Strickland of Commerce, 2 sisters, Yvonne Farley of Blackshear and Maxine Strickland of Blackshear. Five Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren also survive.

The family will receive friends at Ivie Funeral Home on Tue. Evening from 6-9 PM. Services will be held 2PM on Friday Jan 23, 2009 from the Chapel of Pearson-Treadwill Funeral Home in Blackshear, Ga. The family will receive friends from 5-9PM Thursday evening in the Pearson-Treadwell funeral home in Blackshear, Ga.
