Walter Holder

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Walter Holder, age 92, of Hoschton, who passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2009. Mr. Holder, born in Hall County, was a son of the late, Charlie Holder and the late, Ida Barrett Holder. He was a farmer and was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Holder was preceded in death by his wife: Ila Belle Skelton Holder; son: Harold Holder; and daughter: Dale Vandiver.

Survivors include his sons: Darrell Holder of Hoschton; and Jackie Holder of Jefferson. Sister: Rila Hingecliff of Phoenix, Arizona. Four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Saturday, February 14, 2009 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery.
