Betty Ann Sailers Barnett

Ivie Funeral Home announces the death of Betty Ann Sailers Barnett, age 77, of Commerce, who died Tuesday evening. She was the daughter of the late Harvey Franklin and Florence Evelyn McConnell Sailers.


Survivors include her husband Raphael Delone Barnett of the home; a daughter and son-in-law Betty Christina and Mercer Eugene Crook of Gainesville; one sister Janice Slay of Winterville; two grandsons Michael (Candice White)Crook and Rory (Anna Painter)Crook; two great-grandchildren Lorelai Crook and Aubrey Crook.


Funeral services will be Friday, March 13 at 2:00 p.m. from the Commerce First Baptist Church with Dr. Carlton Allen and Rev. Rusty Trotter officiating with burial in Grey Hill Cemetery.


The family is at the residence and will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, March 12 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
