Ruby Nell Adams

Ruby Nell Adams, age 78 of Truman Mountain Road, Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at her residence following a sudden illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 27, 2009 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Jack Pierce will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 26, 2009 from 9 am to 9 pm at the funeral home.


Mrs. Adams was born February 25, 1931 in Hall County, Georgia to the late Charles Edward Young and Lola Truelove Young. She retired from Fieldale with 45 years of service and was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, J. L. Adams, her son, Jerry Lee Adams, her sisters, Louise Simmons and Emma Jean Adams, her brothers, Charlie Young, Boyd Young and Hoyt Young and her grandson, Michael Harris.


Mrs. Adams is survived by her daughter, Judy Harris of Cleveland, daughters & their husbands, Joyce & Daniel Wiley and Linda & Justin Palmer, all of Gainesville, son & his wife, Larry & MaryNell Adams of Flowery Branch, 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
