Edward L. Ford

Obituary Date: Friday, April 10, 2009
Mr. Edward Lonnie Ford, age 58 of Loganville passed away Friday, April 10, 2009.

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 14th at Hope Community Fellowship Church, 4037 Bailey Circle, Loganville with Pastor Brent Ross officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday evening April 13th from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Interment will be at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, Bethany Church Road, South of 78 in Snellville, Ga.

Mr. Ford was a member of the Sons of the Confederate and The Masons Lodge of Tucker, Georgia. He was also an Eagle Scout and an active member of Hope Community Fellowship Church. Mr. Ford was very generous with contributions to charitable organizations and enjoyed antique cars, military War Planes and researching civil war battle sites.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ford of Loganville; daughter and son-in-law, Brittany and Brian Gordon of Loganville; brother, Wayne Ford of Lilburn, two grandsons, Taylor and Bailey Gordon. Also surviving are his two best friends Melissa Perry of Lawrenceville and Andy Jaynes of Gainesville.
