Eva Bell Moore

Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest announces the death or Mrs. Eva Bell Moore, age 83, of Cleveland, formerly of Cornelia, who died Thursday, April 16, 2009 at a private care facility following an extended illness.


Mrs. Moore was born on July 18, 1925 in Middlesburg, Kentucky to the late Alec and Janie Kendricks Moore.



In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Lewis Shedd; and brothers, Hershall Moore, Charlie Moore, Mack Moore and J.T. Moore.


Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and a member of the Wolf Creek Baptist Church.


Survivors include her daughters, Nancy Lovell of Clarkesville; Evelyn Ralston of Winder; Carolyn Wiley of Clarkesville; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.


Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 18, 2009 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest with Reverend Tim Beasley officiating. Interment will follow in the Wiley Cemetery in Wiley.


The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, April 17, 2009.
