Ethel Louise Petty

Mrs. Ethel Louise Petty, age 64 of Buford passed away Monday, April 20, 2009. Ethel was a member of the Blackshear Place Baptist Church in Flowery Branch and was a friend to everyone she met. She was devoted to her husband, daughters, grandchildren and her church. She enjoyed painting, choir at church, playing the piano and teaching Sunday school.

Survivors include her Husband Larry Petty of Buford, Ga.; Daughter & Son-In-Law Celeste and Jamie Stewart of Ball Ground, Ga.; Daughter Elizabeth Ann Heeth of Buford, Ga.; Brother & Sister-In-Law David and Karen Brooks of Walla Walla, Washington; Grandchildren Hunter and Braeden Stewart of Ball Ground, Ga., Sydney Petty and Bryton Heeth of Buford, Ga.


Funeral services will be at 2 PM Friday April 24th at Blackshear Place Baptist Church in Flowery Branch, Georgia. Officiating will be Pastor Jeff Crook. Mrs. Petty will lie in state at the church from 1 PM until service time. Interment to follow at the Memorial Park South Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park South Funeral Home in Flowery Branch, Thursday, April 23, 2009 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
