Zora Mae Cragg Moore

Zora Mae Cragg Moore, age 78 of Mt. Airy, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2009, at her residence following a brief illness.

Born in Habersham County on October 10, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Levi and Ruth Jane Wiggley Cragg. Mrs. Moore was an active member of Hazel Creek Baptist Church where she taught the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. She and her husband James were former owners and operators of B & C Cleaners for 32 years. Mrs. Moore enjoyed gardening, sewing and participating in church activities.

Surviving are husband of 57 years, James Moore of Mt. Airy; daughter, Grace Moore of Calhoun; son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Jennifer Moore of Mt. Airy; brother and sister-in-law, Andrew and Geraldine Cragg of Starke, FL; sister, Magdalene McConnell of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Kevin Thomas Moore and Skye Leigh Moore both of Mt. Airy; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 2:30 pm Sunday, June 21, 2009, at Hazel Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Burrell and Rev. Trent Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Hal Cason officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9 pm on Friday and 5-9 pm on Saturday. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to the Hazel Creek Baptist Church Benevolence Fund, 243 Hazel Creek Church Road, Mt. Airy, GA 30563.
