Funeral services for Donald Paul Kidd age 61 of Clermont. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday June 22,2009 in Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery Visitation will be Saturday and Sunday from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. The Rev. Dean Bryant and The Rev. Charles Buice will officiate.Mr. Kidd was a native of Lumpkin County,he was an educator, he served as superintendent of Lumpkin County schools and served as assistant principle of Union County School. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Mr. Kidd was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Emmitt Kidd, his sister, Yvonne Kidd. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Stells Kidd,his daughter, Adrienne Kidd and his son, Jeremy Kidd, all of Clermont.His mother, Ruth Peck Kidd, of Dahlonega. Strickland Funeral Home, Clermont.
