Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. J.C. Gable, age 68 of Gainesville. Mr. Gable passed away Monday, July 06, 2009 at his residence following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 AM, Wednesday, July 8, 2009 from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Keith Truelove officiating
Mr. Gable was born in Habersham County on June 16, 1951 to Roy W. Gable and Jessie Mae Garrett Gable. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gable was preceded in death by his brothers Roy Gable Jr. and Larry Eugene Leachman
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Gable of Gainesville and sisters, Patsy Garrett of Gainesville and Shirley Hagan of Nicholson as well as a host of nieces and nephews
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 from 4 to 8 PM
