Jimmie Edward Collins

Mr. Jimmie Edward Collins, age 67, a native of Forsyth County, passed away Friday, July 10, 2009. Mr. Collins was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and was employed by Forsyth County Board of Education as the head Custodian at Forsyth Central High School. He was a mason of Mt. Zion Lodge # 316 F&AM. He was preceded in death by his parents Willard and Bertie Lee Collins, brother and sister-in-law Billy and Evelyn Collins and brother Rev. Doug Collins all of Cumming.



Survivors include his wife Ruth Collins of Cumming; daughters and sons-in-law Linda and Kenneth Garner of Cumming and Tracy and Andrew Rodriguez of Cumming; step-sons Scotty and Bryan Seay of Dawsonville; sister and brother-in-law Brenda and Donald Ramey of Dawsonville; sister-in-law Dorothy Collins of Cumming; grandchildren Melissa Garner, Andrew Garner and Nina Rodriguez all of Cumming; step-grandchildren Eric Seay and Heather Seay both of Dawsonville; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.



Funeral services will be held Monday, July 13th at 3:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ruel Martin and Rev. Tim Biddy officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens with full Masonic honors. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Sunday from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm and Monday from 9:00 am until hour of service.
