Daniel Patrick Bailey

Daniel Patrick Bailey, affectionately known as Dan, of Cleveland, Georgia passed away on Saturday July 25, 2009 at a Northeast Florida Hospice Center in Jacksonville, Florida after a short illness. Mr. Bailey was born in Atlanta, Georgia on February 3, 1945, the son of the late Edward Daniel Bailey, Jr. and Mary Elizabeth McCleer Bailey. Mr. Bailey is survived by his stepmother Mrs. Alma Scarborough Bailey of Gainesville, Georgia. Mr. Bailey was also preceded in death by nephew Johnny Bailey.

Mr. Bailey was raised in Jacksonville, Florida where he developed a lifelong love of the ocean. Mr. Bailey was a 1963 graduate of Ribault High School in Jacksonville, a veteran of the United States Army, and earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Georgia State University in Atlanta. Mr. Bailey enjoyed a marvelous career in sales, management and senior management, before his retirement in 2002 as President and CEO of Anthony Manufacturing in Los Angeles. Being a strong Christian believer, he was very comfortable in his last days.

Mr. Bailey is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Danielle and Tony Mastalir of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Candace and Michael Reid of Simi Valley, California: grand children Mikel Mastalir, Andre Mastalir, Jake Reid and Jace Reid; brothers and sisters-in-law Michael and Lorraine Bailey of St. Augustine, Florida; Jack and Sandra Bailey of Mansfield, Georgia; nephews and nieces Marc (Mr. Baileyâ
