William C. Kirschbaum

William C. Kirschbaum, age 62, of Cumming (formerly of Byron, IL), passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2009.


He was a good father and grandfather, USMC Master Gunnery Sgt. and Drill Instructor who loved woodworking, gardening and farming. William had an impeccable work ethic which he handed down to his children. He worked for Commonwealth Edison in the Byron Nuclear Power Plant. He was proud to be an American and serve his country.


Survivors include wife, Renee Kirschbaum of Cumming; mother, Marjorie Kirschbaum of Phoenix, AZ; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Jeff Jorgensen of Denver, Co; sons and daughters-in-law, Lee and Tracey Kirschbaum of Cumming and Cletus and Karen Kirschbaum of Kewauskum, WI; sister and brother-in-law, Jill and Thomas Weingartner of Rockford, IL; brother and sister-in-law, John and Joyann Kirschbaum of Rockford, IL; 6 grandchildren, William, Jared and Lauren Kirschbaum, Kilian and Bailey Kirschbaum and Lily Jorgensen.


A Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 3rd at 6:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Deckard officiating. Family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Salvation Army - 681 Dorsey Street - Gainesville, GA 30501.
