Maggie Jane Bruce Thomas

Maggie Jane Bruce Thomas, 75, of Morrow, Georgia died August 27, 2009.

Maggie was born June 21, 1934 to the late Frank and Mary Bruce. Prior to her retirement she owned and operated a fresh produce business at the Atlanta Farmers Market in Forest Park.

Surviving are her daughter, Shirley Thornton, Atlanta; son, Marcus Shelton, Dawsonville; sisters, Lavada Parker, Apopka, FL, Mary Elizabeth Martin, Douglasville; brothers, Frank Lewis Bruce, Decatur, Roy Bruce, Douglasville, and a number of other relatives.

The family will receive friends Sunday, September 13, 2009 from 3 until 5 at Bearden Funeral Home.
