Marion Waters

Marion Waters, age 67, of Spring Street, Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Friday, September 18, 2009 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, September 20, 2009 at Mercer Baptist Church with interment to follow in the Church Cemetery. Reverend Gary Carlyle will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 19, 2009 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Mrs. Waters was born September 3, 1942 to the late Martin and Flonnie Terry in Gainesville, Georgia. She was of the Baptist Faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Waters.

Mrs. Waters is survived by her daughter, Kathy Mooney of Dawsonville, son, Jackie Waters of Gainesville, daughter, Connie Mills of Gainesville, daughter, Ann Esco of Loganville, son, Steve Waters of Braselton, daughter, Rose Robinson of Commerce, sister, Mildred Keanun of South Carolina, brother, Martin Terry of Cumming, sister, Betty Ann Lankford of Loganville, sister, Minnie Ruth Smith of Acworth, Dianna Smith of Virginia, sister, Marian Sanders of Braselton, sister, Teresa Estelle of Tennessee, sister, June Smith of Monroe, 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren who will love and miss her dearly.
