Christine Edith Whiton

Memorial services for Christine Whiton, 48, of Dahlonega will be held at 7p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2009, at Bethel United Methodist Church Lumpkin Campground Rd., in Dawsonville.

Ms. Whiton passed away September 20, 2009 after losing her battle with Leukemia due to complications.

Christine was born in Evanston, IL, to Eileen and Robert Whiton. She graduated from Evanston High School in 1979, and has worked for DeKalb Office Environments as a Network Administrator in Alpharetta, GA for the past 14 years. She was a foster mother, avid quilter, scrap booker, gardener, knitter, and singer.

She is preceded in death by her Mother Eileen Partington Whiton and her brother Stephen Grant Whiton.

She is survived by her beloved father Robert Whiton, daughters Anahita Price and Emily Brown, brother Dennis Whiton, sister and brother in-law Colleen and William Dornbusch, sisters-in law Michelle Whiton, Robbin Whiton, nephews Stephen Whiton Jr, Jeffery Whiton, Andrew Whiton, Alex Whiton, Kyle Dornbusch, Sean Whiton, Kristopher Dornbusch, nieces Heather Whiton, Katherine Dornbusch, Rebecca Whiton, Megan Whiton and numerous cousins.
