Harry Aven Dempsey

Mr. Harry Aven Dempsey, age 83 of Cumming, GA passed away Monday, September 28, 2009. He was the son of the late, Eugene C. Sr. and Julia B. Dempsey. After retiring from Atlas Supply Company in 1988, he retired to Lake Hartwell where he lived 17 years before moving to Cumming. He was a member of Nancy Hart #604 Masonic Lodge and was a past president of the Hartwell Shrine Club.



Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Helen H. Dempsey; son and daughter-in-law, Steve A. and Kaye Dempsey of Suwanee; grandchildren, David and Amy Dempsey of Alpharetta, Jonathan and Kaedie Dempsey of Canton; great grandchildren, Jonathan S. and Julia, Jacob, Jordan and Harrison Dempsey.



A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 11:00 am in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Pruess officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, Oct. 3rd from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
