Joseph Roger Dixon

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Joseph Roger Dixon, age 63, of Jefferson, who passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2009. Mr. Dixon worked as a service representative with a Telemarketing company; and was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his mother, Johnnie Lou Hollis Dixon; and sister, Peggy Lance Cannon.

Survivors include his nieces and nephews, Shirley Stansel of Pendergrass; Joanne Rainwater of Pendergrass; Tommy Lance of Homer; and Keith Lance of Pendergrass.

Graveside Services will be held 11 AM Saturday, October 10, 2009 from the Woodbine Cemetery, Jefferson.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 until 8 PM at

Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, Georgia.
