A. J. Lee

A. J. Lee, age 84 of Chadwick Drive, Flowery Branch, Georgia passed away October 9, 2009 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, October 11, 2009 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Drewery Loggins will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 10, 2009 from 9 am till 9 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Lee was born April 19, 1925 in Jackson County, Georgia to the late Frank Lee and Isabell Chambers Lee. He was retired from Chicopee and was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Katie Grindle Lee.

Mr. Lee is survived by his daughter, Mildred Gunter of Flowery Branch, daughter & son-in-law, Joyce & Terence Shaw of Gainesville, grandsons, Terry D. Shaw of Gainesville, Todd Shaw of Flowery Branch and Michael Shaw of Gainesville, granddaughters, Samantha Turner of Stone Mountain and Marta Agans of Flowery Branch, great-grandsons, Leland Agans and Aaron Agans both of Flowery Branch.
