Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday November 19, 2009 at Oak Grove Baptist Church for Royce Latty, 75, Pendergrass, Ga. Rev. Brian Malcolm and Rev. Clack Stubbs officiating. Burial in Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends at Wards Funeral Home Wednesday 2pm- 4pm & 6pm- 9pm . He passed away Monday from a short illness. Mr. Latty was born in Jackson County and was the son of the late Stoy & Gladys Massey Latty. He was retired from Makita and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Latty, Pendergrass. Daughters & Sons-in-law, Vickie & John Lacy, Loganville, Ga. Joy & Glen Bilbo, Kodak, TN. Son , Richard Latty, Pendergrass. Grand Children, Eric Lacy, Kristie LeBeau, Stehhanie Chitu , and Dana Bobeck. Great Grand children, Eli Lacy, Rhiannon Lacy, Scarlett Chitu, Austin Micham and Tyler Micham.
