Carl Robinson

Mr. Carl Robinson, age 82, of Dahlonega, GA died Wednesday November 18, 2009 at the Gold City Convalescent Center in Dahlonega, GA.

Mr. Robinson was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.

Carl was the son of the late Coleman Robinson and Nola Butler Robinson and was also preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Grizzle; brothers, Dock, Ed, Doyle, Jay, and Emory Robinson.

He is survived by one sister, Berbie Harkins, Dahlonega, GA; grandson and wife, Lamar and Mandy Grizzle, Dahlonega, GA; grandchildren, Jared and Daniel Grizzle, Raven Lingerfelt, and Allison Honeycutt. 2 great-grandchildren and several other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Robinson are scheduled for 2 PM Friday Nov. 20, 2009 at the Concord Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell and Rev. Dean Bryant will officiate.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 PM until 9 PM.
