Juanita Wood

Mrs. Juanita Stephens Wood, age 80, of Oakwood, Georgia, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2009.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Oakwood City Cemetery Eternal Rest. Oakwood, Georgia. Dr. Steve Fenlon will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, December 14, 2009 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wood was born in Hall County, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Charles Lewis Stephens and Rosa Mae (Morris) Stephens. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Oakwood. Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray Rell Wood; and a son, Edward Ray Wood.

Mrs. Wood is survived by her son Lee Wood and wife, Deborah, of Oakwood; son Steve Wood and wife, Kim, of Oakwood; grandchildren, Kristie Wood Davis, Nathan Wood, Corey Wood, Erin Wood and Taylor Wood; great-grandchildren, Kyle Davis, Joshua Davis, Alexis Wood and Camron Wood; brother, Charles Stephens and a sister, Evelyn Dyer, both of Oakwood.
