Mildred Bowden Hanes

Mrs. Mildred Bowden Hanes age 94 of Gainesville passed away Wednesday December 30, 2009 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Graveside Services are scheduled for 1:00p.m. Saturday January 2 in the Alta Vista Cemetery. Pastor David Collins will officiate.

The family will recieve friends from 11:00am to 1:00pm Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hanes was born in Putnam County to the late A. Elliott Bowden and Martha Lee Hawkins Bowden. She had lived most of her life in Hall County and had worked for the Gainesville Mill. She was a member of Montgomery Memorial Baptist Church, Open Door Sunday School Class and Golden Ambassadors Senior Group. She was preceded in death by her Husband George C. Hanes.
Survivors include Nieces and Nephews Janelle Bowden Steele, Brooks, GA, Mitchell Bowden, Rex, GA, Bradley Bowden Riverdale, GA and a number of Great Nieces and Nephews and Great Great Nieces and Nephews and Special Friends Addie and Floyd Wilson of Gainesville.
