Ernest Wilson Burgess

Ernest Wilson Burgess, age 79 of Alto, passed away Saturday, January 09, 2010, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in Habersham County on April 08, 1930, he was the son of the late Walt and Mary Mealor Burgess. Mr. Burgess was the owner and operator of Burgess Savage Yard for 50 years. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a twin brother and sister; sisters, Sadie Freeman and Minnie Payne and brother, Cromer Lee Burgess.
