Mrs. Sue M. Brantley, age 66, of Harrison, formerly of Flowery Branch, passed away Friday, January 15, 2010.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm. The Reverend Carrel T. Pruitt will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, January 22, 2010.
Mrs. Brantley was born in Forsyth County, and was the daughter of the late Athens John Mullinax, Sr. and Permelia Frances Bowman Mullinax. She was a longtime member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, and a longtime resident of Flowery Branch before moving to Harrison.
Mrs. Brantley is survived by her husband of 50 years, Floyd Brantley of Harrison, GA; son, Glenn W. Brantley and wife Sandra of Homer, GA; son, Gene W. Brantley, Tennille, GA; son, Rickey Brantley and wife Bree of Tennille, GA; son, Terrell Brantley and wife Jeanna of Irwinton, GA; daughter, Gail B. McDougal and husband, David of Buford, GA; daughter, Cheryl B. Raulerson and husband, Jimmy of Tennile, GA; and daughter, Elaine B. Kilby and husband Reggie of Flowery Branch, GA; sister, Carolyn Grindle of Buford and brother A.J. Mullinax, Jr. and wife, Francis, Buford, GA; brother, Ralph Mullinax, Buford, GA and brother, John Mullinax and wife Lois of Commerce, GA; 22 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren
