Hoyt T. Webb

Hoyt T. Webb age 82 passed to be with the Lord on Sunday January 17, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.



Mr. Webb was born September 23, 1927 to Charles Benjamin & Amanda Adelaide (Barnes) Webb. Hoyt was a 1951 graduate of the US Navy Supply School in Athens, GA and served his country in the Navy for 21 years. After leaving the Navy he worked for the U.S. Government in Saudi Arabia for 5 years and in the US Postal Service for 17 years before his retirement. He was baptized in 2005 at Lakewood Baptist Church, where he was a member. He was preceded in death by his brother Theron Webb , sister Florence (Webb) Seymour, and niece Susan (Webb) Cottrell.



Hoyt is survived by his brother and sister-in-law John Willard & Rozena Webb, Sister-in-law Bernice Webb, Nephew Stephen Webb & his wife Jeanne Webb, children: Charles Bradley Webb, Dr. Melanie Ann Webb Schrann, & Melissa Ann Webb Brooks. Also several other cousins, nieces and nephews.



As Hoyt was always giving to others in ways only he could he made the final gift of his body to Emory University School of Medicine so that others may learn from his gift.



There will be a Memorial Service held for Hoyt Webb at 3PM Saturday January 23, 2010 at the New Holland Baptist Church â
